19/11/2013 · The partial profiles for laydown holders/inserts that I have seen can do 7-5 TPI for 1/2" IC inserts (1" stick OD holders) and 48-8 TPI for 3/8" IC inserts (3/4" stick OD holders). I need to find either laydown or on-edge inserts that can do 4 TPI and that fit a 3/4" stick holder (for OD threads) or 1" threading bars (for ID threads).
